Julia Kramer

I am a proud University of Michigan graduate, a wife, mother, dog lover and passionate financial coach and educator.

Growing up in a household that was dysfunctional, I never learned how to properly manage money and lived with the insecurity and worry of having no savings and no money for things as basic as food. I learned that not having enough money was no fun. Later in life, when I experienced having plentiful money but also had unhealthy, unhappy relationships, I learned that lots of money, but no true connections with family and loved ones was also not fun.

And then I read a book that changed my life – The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko. I learned that most millionaires were not flashy – owning big houses, big watches, and fancy clothes and cars, but lived in moderate homes, wore a Timex, shopped at J.C. Penney and drove luxury vehicles that they bought used. What?

That made a lot of sense to me. By this time my husband and I had two young boys and I was motivated to help create a financial life that was conflict free and that provided safety and security for our growing boys.

A lucky happenstance resulted in me finding my financial hero on the radio – Dave Ramsey (http://www.daveramsey.com). I became an avid listener to his show and later trained at his facility in Nashville, Tennessee.

I have learned so much about the keys to living a healthy financial life that I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping my clients find the financial peace that I have been blessed to find. My training is done in a shame-free, compassionate manner. I am not here to judge you, but I am anxious to provide the tools that will help you create an effective process for successfully managing your personal finances and subsequently, finding your own financial peace.
